Malindra Homsilpakul
Based in Launceston TAS, Australia
From Bangkok, Thailand
I have been sketching and painting since I was very young. In my background, I studied Interior Architecture and had worked as an interior designer in Bangkok. Making artwork has always been an integral part of my interior design career. After the project completion, I usually obtain additional works from my clients to do artwork decoration, and this is the beginning of MALIN from my hobby.
Since 2022, I moved to Launceston to finish Master of Architecture and currently work as a graduate architect. Tasmania is a beautiful state full of abundant nature and unique wildlife which I enjoy living here very much.
This is a significant change of my life and Tasmania has treated me very well.
I do love traveling to nature sightseeing in different locations. I always draw in my sketchbook during the trip to keep them as my memorable experience. Nature has always been my inspiration and a great impact on my illustrations.
I would say I don't constantly attach to any specific style of drawing. As you can see, I do both realistic and abstract works with different tools. I prefer to try new techniques and prepare for the next challenges.
